Dr. Elizabeth Smith specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of learning disorders.
Dr. Smith has over thirty years of experience diagnosing and treating learning disorders in various public, private and clinical settings. She has helped thousands of parents understand why their child is struggling in school and what they can do to help their child realize his or her full academic potential.
She holds a Ph.D., M.A. and B.S. in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL). The Learning Disabilities program at Northwestern University is internationally recognized as a pioneer in the field of learning disorders. Graduates of this program are widely regarded as some of the world’s foremost experts on learning disorders.
Dr. Smith has served as the President of the Learning Disabilities Association of Washington and as a Board Member of the Washington State Chapter of the International Dyslexia Association.
She has also served as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Education at Seattle Pacific University.
